I am not a blogger. So, why am I blogging? Because I felt it would be a great way for you to get to know a little bit more about me and what lead me on my quest to help other moms find balance in their lives.
Several years ago, my family had a lot of health issues that we were determined to get some answers about. We wanted to do our best to take care of things naturally. This lead to experimenting with essential oils. I did my research and dabbled here and there for a few years. Finally, through the loving guidance from a family friend, we found a company we knew we could trust. You see, our daughter had been diagnosed with hyperoxaluria at the age of 5. We had to learn to cook from scratch because everything you could buy on a shelf had too many ingredients she couldn’t have. I also dealt with terrible migraines and anxiety. I had tried medications in the past and they just didn’t quite get the job done.
Crazy Oil Lady
Fast forward another 5+ years, we have now been officially “crazy oil” people and, for the most part, without any medications. Through my love for essential oils, I began to learn more about the sense of smell and how it affects our emotions. I took a course to become a Certified Aroma Freedom Practitioner, which then lead me into courses on becoming a Life Coach. I never imagined how freeing this would be! Do you know how much of an impact our emotions have on our entire health? It’s not just mental health, it’s overall physical health. Did you know that anger is stored in your liver? Have you ever had a tummy ache because of feeling anxious or worried? Taking care of your emotional health is a key factor in your physical well-being too. These are all things I hope to help bring to light through this blog.
I look forward to sharing more of my journey with you along the way as I continue to strive for better health and wellness and teaching others to do the same.
